So what do you when your life gets up and leaves for 5 days?  Well, you of course do all those things you've been meaning to do but weren't interesting to your child so you never do them.
But what were those things, again.  I can't remember.  So I wander aimlessly through stores.  These aren't errands, there is no objective here.  I am only admiring the beauty.  But wasn't there something I was going to do?  You know, something important.  Oh well, never mind.
Because you can't stand a day without a child you go out to brunch with your nephew and neice.  They try their hardest to fill your heart with smiles, but something is still missing.
Next, you go to the local medicine woman in hopes of finding some help.  While the blueberry Limeade fixed the upset stomach.  I am still spouting poetry:
"Your absence goes through me like a thread and needle
It colors everything I do."

When all else fails you eat a whole vegan pizza by yourself.   Yeah, this is homemade.  I loved every bite of it.  I better do that school work I have been procrastinating.  Cole will be  home Tuesday, I if it's not done, I will be really mad at myself.

I'm sorry you are hurting right now. It was good to see you on Sunday. Next week, maybe we can hang in your neck of the woods. Really. We can make the trek, I am sure of it.

Hi sweet pea, hope all is well. I bet you were glad to see your little man when he got home! And I bet you saw him with totally fresh eyes. My boy is growing fast and he's hilarious. Totally hitting toddlerhood right now, with plenty of sweetness and saltiness every day. Lucky for me, I always liked sweet & savory combined. :)
Love, McKenzie
